Concert Band

Welcome to Concert Band!

Annandale High School fields multiple performance ensembles that meet during the school day as a course as well as ones that meet after the school day concludes. These ensembles include Beginner Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble attend state assessment each Spring and receive ratings on prepared pieces as well as sight reading. The 2025-2026 AHS Wind Ensemble received Superior ratings from all 4 judges on their performance.

During the year we have three concerts - Fall, Winter and Spring, as well as Assessment

FALL CONCERT - October 6th, 2026

PRE ASSESSMENT CONCERT - February 23rd, 2026

ASSESSMENT - March 11th - March12th, 2026

SOLO AND ENSEMBLE FESTIVAL - April 16th, 2027

SPRING CONCERT - May 11th, 2027

Concert Band parents participate in all forms of volunteering throughout the year. All the monies raised during Tag Day, concession stand sales, and our other fundraising efforts, benefit both Marching Band and Concert Band. During the year we bring in special clinicians and guests to assist the students to prep for assessments and other performances.
